Marion Wheeler is a fictional character from QNTM's "There Is No Antimemesis" (TINAD), used here as a narrative anchor for exploring how information itself can become a weapon or anomaly that escapes containment. The readings deploy her character—an apparently ordinary woman with a suspiciously perfect background—to examine the paradox of memetic hazards: entities that can "infect" memory and cognition while remaining invisible to standard detection. Her isolation chamber becomes a thought experiment for the course's interest in how AI systems and information networks might harbor entities or patterns that resist the categories we use to understand them.
